General ledger module for GTS LIMS: chart of accounts, account types and roles, journals, ledgers, cash/bank, expenses, fixed assets and depreciation, payables, provisions, VAT postings, opening balances and accounting reports.

Backend layers only — Domain.Shared, Domain, Application.Contracts, Application, EntityFrameworkCore, HttpApi, HttpApi.Client. Namespace gts.lims.ledger, packages gts.lims.ledger.*, tables prefixed GeneralLedger.

Ported from the AbpEx.GeneralLedger module of Medverse.Ris (dev @ 4ed78924); Medverse.Shared was replaced by gts.lims.shared, and the unused Medverse.Masterdata dependency was dropped.

Account balances

JournalCreatedLocalEventHandler does not update GeneralLedgerAccounts.Balance itself. It queues each journal's signed amount in the unit of work (AccountBalanceQueue); just before commit the queue stages them in GeneralLedgerPendingAccountMovements (insert only), and PendingAccountMovementApplier adds every committed staged row to the balances in one statement every 500 ms. Order transactions therefore never lock the shared accounts (Revenue, Cash, Discount, providers, branches), and balances trail the journals by up to one interval. Outside a unit of work the balance is written at once (EfCoreAccountBalanceWriter).

The consuming API host must run the applier, or staged movements never reach the balances:

Register it in the API host only (not the DbMigrator or a Web host). Check balances with opening balance + Σ journals per account. PostgreSQL only.
